According to the Plant Protection Division of Ministry of Agriculture has initiated National Campaign on 100% seed treatment and spurious pesticides from 2007 and continues till date. In this campaign, to educate the farmers, PP Division issued advertisements of Rs.59.00 lakhs during 2007-08 and Rs. 39.7 lakhs during 2008-09.
