Ministry of Finance release an ‘on account’ basis amount of Rs.1000 crore from NCCF to Bihar on August 29,2008, besides advance release of Central share of CRF for the year 2008-09 amounting to Rs. 121.86 crore on 17th September, 2008, to undertake relief measures in the wake of Kosi Floods in Bihar.
