18 FEB 2010, NEW DELHI, A Bi-cycle Rally has been organized on 20 Feb, 2010 at 11:00 am from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA to JANTAR MANTAR to promote Hockey. This initiative has been taken by “YUVA KOSHISH” a Non-government organization dedicated towards empowering the youth and promoting culture.
The citizens of our country are ignorant towards Hockey and the upcoming HOCKEY WORLD CUP TOURNAMENT which is going to take place in India in the next ten days.
This Rally is a step taken to make them aware, which will be attended by former Governor Syed Sibt-e-Razi, Ashok Mathur Delhi Hockey association, H.S.Kharbanda besides other personalities. students of various central universities of delhi would also participate to support the cause.
“YUVA KOSHISH” which has always tried to enlighten the youth and masses has thus taken upon itself to spread awareness about Hockey and revive its spirit.
